Our second subject is from this year's Bakersfield March Meet, where easterner Peter Gallen appeared and challenged all the West Coast hot dogs with his simple, but very effective "Povery Stricken" nitro nostalgia funny car. He's currently the IHRA Nitro Jam world record holder and one of the quickest and fastest "old-school" floppers in the business. The photo kept the center of the car in focus, while allowing the blurred wheels to impart a sensation of speed, which was accentuated even more by the blurred background.
