Let's start this new feature with one of my favourite shots from the 2010 season, taken just at dusk at a dragstrip in Nevada. It captures two Top Fuel cars; Troy Buff in the Bill Miller car on the far side, and Ron August in the Hartley Family car on the near side. For a chance (from my usual pace) I actually managed to keep both cars more or less in focus and blur the background to give a decent impression of the power and speed as these two land rockets launched into the evening.
