Before the racing got underway in earnest, there was a test 'n tune session on Thursday for the fuel altered racers. The original pre-entry list of 42 cars had shrunk to 38 on Wednesday, and two more entries dropped out before the final field of 36 AA/FA's began the inaugural Fuel Altered Chaos event. And in case you're wondering, before qualifying began, the announcement went out that the second annual Fuel Altered Chaos event was already scheduled for November 6 - 7, 2026.
