Just in case you're wondering why I'm not doing any of the promised updates from last weekend's California Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield, here's one of the best reasons why. I mean, how can I be expected to work on stuff like drag racing when I've got such a beautiful view to enjoy and such a great (one among literally dozens) beach to lie around and do absolutely nothing on. Don't worry: we'll be back at it soon enough, with the Las Vegas Nationals coming up next weekend, but for now.....
