in the world of drag racing ![]() The latest update as of May 15, 1999 It's been a bit of a struggle and more than a few dramas over the last week... but we are here in Australia, happy and healthy, and finally, back on line. The logistics of moving the race car down here, getting everything arranged and organized are still proving to be a daunting task. Slowly, but surely it's all coming together... a little bit at a time, and we're still planning to have the car finished and running before the Winternationals countdown hits zero. Over the next few days I plan to update this site with installments of the "Dragster Diary" and fill in the missing pieces of the last week and keep updating them on a daily basis. Photographs will be added as the rolls of film are developed and scanned, but may be rather sporadic. Stay tuned though, as the stories should be worth the wait. For everyone who's been wondering why I haven't responded to e-mails lately, we're still working on that and should be able to catch up by the end of the weekend. Also, please note that all times and dates from now until we return to Canada in June will be in Australian eastern standard time. So, for people in North America, we may seem to be almost a day ahead (or at least not so far behind). The time difference is 17 hours to the west coast of North America. And if all else fails, I can be contacted through Ken Lowe. ![]() ![]() |
