The rescheduled NHRA MAC TOOLS Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway was finally completed yesterday, Saturday, March 14th. Complete results are available on the Results Menu. Excellent track and atmospheric conditions combined to produce some incredible performances, such as Joe Amato's 4.523 - 322.58 shot in the first round. And Mission Raceway Park saw it's first action of the '98 season Saturday and Sunday (March 14-15th) as the rain stopped long enough to allow the third scheduled test 'n' tune to be run. However, the track wasn't able to handle any serious (blown) cars yet, so the still-engineless NORTHERN THUNDER team was off the hook for another weekend. (We're secretly hoping for more rainouts until we're ready!). More news as it happens. Stay tuned.
