Now where were we ?
Hey, where did all the "stuff" about AHRA and other topics get to? Click on the "What's Old" button and it's right there at the top of the page. And while you're there, you might want to scroll down and see some of the updates we've made to the archives. You will notice some rather large gaps in the updates, but for every thing that happens (or not, as the case may be) there is a reason. Some of them actually quite good. More on that later.
For now, I'm going to put today's "free" time to good use and fill in the blanks on some of the What's New postings from 2002 and 2003. Then the next task will be the Features page which has lots and lots of new stories waiting to be added, but not until there's actually something on those pages. And then on to the next task. Not sure yet what that will be, but the "What's New" page will be my first priority most days. However, today isn't one of them.
Check back later for some random thoughts about the IHRA - our next target and some of the items on the agenda over the next few weeks. Always fun reading.
Closing for now on a much more serious note, I was saddened to read Jeff Burk's latest Blast about the health of one of my favourite motorsport writers, Chris Martin. The news that he's in a hospice removes almost any doubt as to his future, but the news hits home so hard when I think of some of the great stories and memories this guy has accumulated in his long history in the sport. We're all going to miss him in some way, and me, more than most. Godspeed, Chris.
